Crustless Pumpkin Pie Why bother with healthy Thanksgiving recipes? Why not just indulge for one day? Sure, you can indulge on Thanksgiving. It's a completely valid option, especially if you know from experience that you can indulge one day (or one meal), then go right back to healthy eating. But for many of us, a Thanksgiving "cheat meal" is a very bad idea indeed. If your carbohydrate metabolism is impaired, such a meal will send your blood sugar through the roof. No bueno.
